True story from my life...happened on my Greek lesson last week..and shots
Dear rouvitses!
Here's a true story from my life. This is something that happened last Wednesday on my Greek lesson.
We were reading of one dialog that took place in a Greek plateia in a coffeeshop. There were two ladies discussing, about some actor that was sitting at the same cafeteria. And here is a quotation of the dialog "Autos o oraios antras me to aspro poukamiso = That handsome man in white blouse" The teacher asked me what the word oreos means and I answered handsome, in which he answered that actually it means beautiful.
Then there were voices rising and the whole class said to the teacher that in Finland men are handsome not beautiful. And to that our teacher answered that in Greece even the men are beautiful. Apparently at this point in my eyes have been flashing something, because after a short while our teacher said "I can see that Emilia here can imagine it in her mind."
At that point I got so embarassed, I felt hot wawe on my face and I sware I turned into bright red tone. I was feeling so hot that I had to wawe my hands infront of my face to cool off. And then we all just started to laugh outloud!!! Thee mou!!
